Zaha opens the Maxxi in Roma….

……and I was so happy to  there to celebrate with her!  What an amazing experience it was to witness the enthusiasm that Roma received the Maxxi  with and how honored and happy Zaha was at the warmth of the Italians!!

Rising up out of one of the most unlikely places in Roma there she stands claiming her space and complementing her surroundings with no point of reference….fresh…fascinatingly modern….and  futuristically  beautiful…The Maxxi museum of modern art….Zaha’s gift to Italy!
